background information

I'm terrified of catastrophe and/or any kind of irreparable damage.

When I was five years old, I remember watching my brother roller skate into a sprinkler head which promptly broke. Water was spewing every where. My parents weren't home.

I distinctly remember looking at the disaster and thinking, I'm so happy I don't have to fix it.

Growing up in the middle of nine siblings, there was always someone else to take charge of sticky situations.

  1. I actually remember this -- didn't it happen at the rental house, and we had to call Mr. Fisher to come and turn the water off for us?
